Heat Merchants in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, currently require a Temporary Van Driver/Stores Person for a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a varied role offering exposure to variety of different roles within the branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deliveries for the branch, organizing the stores area of the branch and assist on the counter as and when required. JOB SPECIFICATION Delivering product on time to our customersKeep customers updated on orders and deliveriesMonitoring customer orders and deliveriesUnloading deliveries and putting stock in to their correct locations (physical location and book onto Core ERP system)Ensure the correct reporting of damaged /faulty stock in timely fashion and organising return to Central Warehouse when requiredGood housekeeping in particular for the stores area ensuring walkways are free from trip hazards and goods in correct locationsAssist with sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter when requiredAssist with and participate in stock take when requiredAdherence to maintaining Health & Safety practices and Company policies and proceduresAny other duties as may be reasonably requested by ManagementPlease note that the above list is not intended to capture every detail of your role but the main areas of responsibility.
