I’m working with a strong brand in Dublin that is looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer on a daily rate contract.
This is a hands on role within a busy IT operations team, supporting a mix of on prem infrastructure, cloud services, Microsoft 365, networks, storage, virtualisation and core compute platforms.
The role:
Support and maintain core infrastructure across on prem and cloud environments
Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange Online and OneDrive
Work with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and device compliance
Monitor system performance, capacity and availability
Handle patching, upgrades and configuration changes
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and act as an escalation point for support teams
Support incident, problem and change management activities
Work closely with security teams on controls, patching and vulnerability remediation
Get involved in infrastructure upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement work
What they’re looking for:
5+ years in infrastructure engineering or a similar technical operations role
Strong experience across infrastructure support, cloud services and Microsoft 365
Good knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access and MFA
Experience with servers, storage, virtualisation and networking
Comfortable in a structured IT support environmentSomeone practical, hands on and able to work across multiple teams and suppliers
Nice to have:
Cisco or CompTIA certifications
Security certifications would be a bonus
