We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Manager to join a Dublin -based Private Equity Fund, with a primary focus on identifying, evaluating, and managing investments within Ireland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and performance of our investment portfolio, working closely with senior leadership and portfolio companies to ensure sustainable value creation.
THE ROLE:
* Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities within the Irish market, SMEs, and mature businesses across various sectors.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, industry contacts, and business owners to generate a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Conduct comprehensive financial, market, and operational due diligence on prospective investments.
* Develop detailed financial models, perform valuations, and assess potential returns and risks associated with investment opportunities.
* Lead the preparation of investment proposals and presentations for internal investment committees.
* Manage the end -to -end investment process, including deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
* Collaborate with legal, tax, and other external advisors to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of Irish investments, ensuring the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
* Work closely with portfolio company management teams to provide strategic guidance and support, driving growth, operational improvements, and exit planning.
* Stay informed on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes within Ireland that could impact current and future investments.
* Maintain ongoing communication with investors, providing updates on portfolio performance and key developments.
* Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and in interactions with potential co -investors and other stakeholders.
Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA/ACA qualification is highly desirable.
o Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, with a strong focus on the Irish market.
o Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing successful investments in Ireland.
o Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
o Deep understanding of the Irish business environment, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
o Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced, dynamic environment.
