Role Overview:Dublin based, Snow Cloud Technology Limited are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our technical services team, specialising in the installation, configuration, and maintenance ofTime & Attendance, Access Control,and relatedWorkforce Management Hardware.The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe electrical installation of biometric terminals, networked devices, and cabling systems at customer sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.Location:Field-based (travel across Ireland)Reports To:Technical Services ManagerKey Responsibilities:Install, connect, and commission Time & Attendance terminals (e.g., biometric, facial recognition, proximity, and mobile devices).Perform first- and second-fix electrical work, including power supplies, fused spurs, and containment.Run and terminate data and communication cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, RS485, etc.) as required for system connectivity.Ensure installations comply with electrical regulations (ETCI/BS7671) and company safety standards.Carry out preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on installed systems.Collaborate with software engineers for system testing and integration.Provide technical support and guidance to customers during installations and service visits.Complete and maintain accurate installation and service documentation.Maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service.Skills and Experience Required:Fully qualified Electrician (National Craft Certificate / City & Guilds / QQI Level 6 or equivalent).Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.Experience with low-voltage electrical systems, networked devices, and data cabling.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Good customer communication and interpersonal skills.Full, clean driving licence (company vehicle provided).Desirable Experience:Prior experience in Access Control, CCTV, or Time & Attendance system installation.Knowledge of UKG, TBS, Suprema, Hikvision, or similar hardware.Basic understanding of network configuration (IP addressing, routers, PoE).Experience in service call management and working to SLAs.Package:Competitive salary (based on experience).Company van, tools, phone, and laptop.Training and certification opportunities.Travel expenses and subsistence.Pension scheme and benefits.Please apply to
