Job Opportunity: Strategic Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to enhance our procurement processes and optimise supply chain management.
The Role:
* This key role will play a pivotal part in reviewing and processing Purchase Requisitions and SAP Purchase Orders, implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process Purchase Requisitions and SAP Purchase Orders with utmost accuracy.
* Implement effective procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business growth.
* Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving Purchase Order issues.
* Maintain the integrity of Purchase Orders, databases, and records by ensuring accurate data entry.
* Process orders for warehouses and follow up on related issues to ensure timely completion.
* Collaborate with the logistics team and internal teams on import/export customs issues.
* Track and expedite incoming shipments, promptly resolving receiving issues.
* Coordinate with the warehouse to request Serial number details and arrange for shipment to suppliers.
* Effectively communicate within the team and cross-functionally, as well as with key internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Achieve target fill rate, minimise backlog, and expedite backlog recovery.
* Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock, and cautionary parts.
* Oversee inventory management for multiple warehouses.
* Execute stock balancing among warehouses.
* Ensure systems data integrity and optimise planning processes.
* Recommend obsolete and excess inventory for disposition.
* Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) in the region.
* Determine pack plans and production orders.
* Collaborate with Global Materials and Engineering for material changes.
* Resolve issue resolutions and application enhancement requests between business and warehouse teams.
Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in supply chain management and logistics.
* Experience in procurement and SAP.
* Strong skills in buying and planning.
* Competence in testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
* A relevant degree in a related field is desired but not mandatory.
