The Role / LocationWe are recruiting a Building Resident Manager for one of our South Dublin City locations. This position is the primary point of contact onsite and plays a key role in tenant engagement, as well as overseeing the day-today operational matters of the development. You will be supported by the Savills head office team, including a Tenancy Manager and a Block Property Manager.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised, and confident, with strong customer service and people skills. As the on-site representative of Savills and our client, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach at all times.To succeed in this role, you must have experience in hospitality or tenant management. An understanding of building management is desirable but not required. You will be expected to manage issues calmly, resolving matters on day to day basis, and balance resident needs with client expectations.This is a full-time, on-site role (5 days a week). Remote or hybrid working is not available.The ideal candidate should:Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the property sectorAbility to manage a high volume of activity in a calm, organised, and efficient wayStrong communication skills, with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service to residentsProactive and able to take initiative when dealing with on-site operational mattersAct as the first point of contact for all on-site emergenciesA dynamic, hands-on approach to all key responsibilitiesAlways well-presented and professionalAble to prepare clear, insightful reports for the client as requiredKey Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage all day-to-day operations of the developmentLiaise with the client, on-site staff, and residentsWork with the property managers to monitor operational expenditure budgetsSupport the operation of the client system efficientlyAct as first responder to any on-site issues within the buildingConduct weekly site inspections and prepare detailed reports to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the developmentConduct annual mid-tenancy inspections / check out inspections on all unitsManage the performance of on-site personnel, including concierge staffEnsure operational standards align with the client's requirementsMaintain health and safety practices, keeping the client informed of risks as appropriateCreate newsletters and keep residents informed of upcoming eventsOversee and arrange seasonal events for residentsSupport residents with all on-site and apartment-related requirementsOrientate new residents to the development and assist with queriesFamiliarise residents with software, apps, and services availableSupport the Savills maintenance team to benefit residentsWork with concierge staff to ensure a 5-star service and creating a strong community.Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceSkills required:Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role or hospitalityStrong communication and organisational skillsProficiency in MS Excel, Word, and OutlookCustomer-focused with a commitment to excellent serviceTeam player with strong attention to detailsSolution-oriented with a proactive approachAble to work independently and take initiative as well as part of a teamSavills Ireland is an equal opportunity employer.Savills aims to attract, recruit and retain the best people from the widest possible pool of talent.
