Senior Associate Role in Employment Law
We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate to join our specialist Employment team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to advise clients and navigate their strategic HR and legal issues.
The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of employment law, with experience in areas such as general employment, employment litigation, and transactional support. You will be comfortable with taking responsibility for work output, working autonomously, and dealing directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise clients on employment services, including general employment day-to-day queries, restructuring, and redundancies.
* Defend Employment Tribunal claims made against employers and bring high-value Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of individuals.
* Support clients with dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
* Provide expert advice on restrictive covenants, team moves, and trade union matters.
* Support clients with global mobility, relocation of employees, and employment tax matters.
Requirements:
* 5-8 years post-qualification experience in an Employment team.
* Dual qualification in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland employment laws is highly desirable.
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
