HR Coordinator – Co. Wicklow (Hybrid)

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an HR Coordinator for our client, a nationwide retail business. This hybrid role based in Co. Wicklow, offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across both strategic and operational HR, supporting a highly dynamic and fast-paced organisation. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner, Head of HR, and the broader People & Culture team, playing a key role in delivering a positive employee experience and supporting best practice HR solutions across the business.

Salary: €35k – €40k

Responsibilities:

1. Provide day-to-day HR administrative and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle
2. Assist Managers and the People & Culture Business Partner by taking notes during HR meetings and formal processes
3. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People & Culture Business Partner
4. Respond to employee queries relating to HR policies, procedures, and general HR matters
5. Support engagement, wellness, and diversity & inclusion initiatives across the business
6. Assist in compiling HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management
7. Support management and the HR team on a range of HR projects and strategic initiatives
8. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand needs and provide proactive support

Requirements:

9. Previous experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR administrative role.
10. CIPD qualification or progression toward one is an advantage.
11. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
13. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
14. Strong team player with flexibility to support colleagues across the HR function.
15. Good IT proficiency, including MS Office and experience with HRIS systems.
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
17. Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
