About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR and Finance teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures, as well as experience with implementing new solutions. You will be responsible for managing the Payroll function, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the Payroll function and related activities
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
* Maintain accurate payroll records
* Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies
* Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy
* Payload KPI's reporting and commentary
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role - 5 years
* Strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation
* Proficiency in Payroll software - Micropay / SAP
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
