AA Euro Group is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our client’s team at their co. Tipperary office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the pipe fabrication and installation sector. The role is office-based and requires expertise in creating detailed designs and drawings to support engineering and construction activities.

The role:
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and technical drawings for pipe fabrication and installation projects.
Utilize SolidWorks and Advance Steel to produce accurate models and documentation.
Ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and workshop teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
Assist in the preparation of bills of materials (BOMs) and other documentation for manufacturing and installation.
Conduct regular reviews and revisions of designs to incorporate changes and updates as needed.
Maintain a library of standard designs, templates, and references.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CAD Technician in a pipe fabrication or related industry.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Advance Steel is essential.
Experience working with stainless steel materials is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and installation processes for piping systems.
Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
