We are hiring a Staff Nurse to lead a Hospital in Tralee, Ireland.
Job role: Staff Nurse Location: Tralee Job type: Permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care.
Assist with the continuous development of staff.
Identify hazards in the workplace and provide solutions.
Treat emergency injuries.
Develop programs to maintain health and safety.
Identify work-related risks.
Document all injuries and illnesses Requirements Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Experience in a Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) or similar setting is desirable.
A minimum of three years post-registration acute care experience is essential.
ACLS experience is preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to complete it.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Must demonstrate the skills and attitude needed to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Proficiency in IT is required.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this position.
Experience in cannulation and venepuncture is desirable; otherwise, candidates must be willing to develop these skills.
