Operational Readiness Analyst - Test Location: Dublin City Centre (3 days onsite) Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract - 12 Months with high likelihood of extension About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Analyst- Test to join our Dublin-based team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex business and technology change initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will combine strong manual testing expertise with a deep understanding of operational readiness, process documentation, and stakeholder engagement. You will ensure that both technical and business functions are fully prepared for implementation, with all readiness activities, testing, and documentation completed to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Assurance Execute manual testing across multiple business and technical workstreams to validate readiness and functionality. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts aligned with business and system requirements. Log, track, and retest defects through to closure, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards. Provide traceability from requirements to test results, ensuring all outcomes are properly evidenced. Participate in partner testing and end-to-end functional testing across dependent systems and teams. Operational Readiness Conduct business and technical readiness assessments prior to go-live, ensuring all dependencies and deliverables are in place. Maintain readiness checklists, playbooks, and process artefacts, tracking and reporting on readiness status. Support cutover planning, dry runs, and hypercare to ensure a smooth transition and post-implementation stability. Refine and update documentation throughout the testing and readiness lifecycle, including control documents, SOPs, process maps, and escalation paths. Support the development and maintenance of Continuity of Business (COB) and operational handover materials. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, operations, and business lines to ensure alignment and readiness. Log and manage defects, issues, and risks, ensuring prompt escalation and resolution. Contribute to lessons learned and process improvements for future readiness and testing cycles. Skills & Experience 5-8 years' relevant experience in testing, business readiness, or operational readiness roles. Proven experience in manual testing, test execution, and defect management. Strong understanding of process mapping, operational procedures, and documentation control. Experience coordinating cross-business testing and readiness activities. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (Visio preferred). Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills. Prior industry experience in Custody, Financial Services, or Digital Assets is advantageous. Ability to operate with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
