Your new role includes
Managing all inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including order fulfilment, goods receiving, and dispatch.
Overseeing stock management through the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
Training and supporting warehouse staff in the effective use of WMS scanning and tracking tools.
Leading and developing the warehouse team through clear communication, training, and regular performance reviews.
Ensuring equipment, forklifts, and racking are properly maintained and serviced on schedule.
Delivery on operational KPIs, including pick rates, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce cost.
Experience you need
3+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics management role, ideally in the construction/ building products industry.
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – experience with scanning, stock control, and reporting is essential.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance requirements.
Forklift license and any relevant certification
