Join our collaborative and high-performing External Reporting & Accounting team as a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will report to the Director of Global Tax and play a key part in managing statutory reporting across our EMEA and APAC entities, while supporting global tax compliance initiatives. We seek a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally from an audit background. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of IFRS, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with statutory reporting requirements for EMEA and APAC entities, including annual audits and income tax filings.
2. Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements.
3. Oversee and review international tax returns (monthly/quarterly & annual filings as applicable by region).
4. Prepare GAAP to Statutory adjustments and support documentation for local filings.
5. Assist with Quarterly 10Q/10K US Tax reporting requirements and annual compliance filings.
6. Execute and document quarterly and annual internal controls for US SEC filings.
7. Collaborate with the corporate finance team on accounting matters for non-routine transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, and restructurings.
8. Review new IFRS accounting standards, prepare memos for local audits where required.
9. Prepare board signing packs and perform fluctuation analysis of annual accounts for review by directors.
10. Manage timelines and expectations with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all statutory deadlines.
11. Oversee multiple workstreams and support workflow management for direct support staff.
12. Assist the Director of Tax with OECD Transfer Pricing reports and related projects.
13. Support the corporate finance team on ad hoc projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified, with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101, and international accounting standards.
* Solid understanding of international tax compliance and reporting requirements.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational environment managing multiple projects.
* Proven ability to take ownership and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
* Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills.
* Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Workday.
* Proficiency in macros and large dataset analysis.
* Background in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 or Top 10 audit firm.
