Lending Manager - Direct Lending TeamSalary: €60,000 - €65,000Department: Lending and Business DevelopmentReporting to: Chief Commercial OfficerThe RoleThe Lending Manager will play a key role in delivering annual lending targets through direct mortgage business. The successful candidate will manage new lending applications from enquiry through to completion, ensuring strong pipeline performance and exceptional customer service.This role will involve building strong internal and external relationships, supporting introducers and stakeholders, and contributing to business growth through proactive lending management.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver annual new business lending targets through direct lendingManage quality, conversion, and delivery of new mortgage applicationsProgress cases from initial enquiry through to completionMonitor and manage pipeline performance to ensure service excellenceMaintain strong relationships with internal departments (Credit, Finance, AML, etc.)Provide training and support to brokers, new staff, and existing team membersIdentify new business opportunities through introducers and direct leadsProvide updates to senior management on market trends and competitor activitySupport process improvement initiatives and special projectsEducation and ExperienceThird level qualification or relevant industry qualificationAPA or QFA qualification requiredMinimum 5 years' experience in banking/lending/mortgage environmentsStrong knowledge of consumer lending practices across owner occupier and buy-to-letStrong Microsoft Office skillsSkills and Personal ProfileHighly motivated and target-drivenExcellent interpersonal and organisational skillsTeam player with strong initiativeProfessional, discreet, and confidential approachStrong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Office 365
