Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist on behalf of a community based HSE Paediatric multidisciplinary team in Castletroy. In this role you’ll enjoy excellent peer support, regular clinical supervision, and meaningful professional development opportunities
The successful candidate will:
* Work with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), speech sound disorders, language difficulties, and complex communication needs.
* Provide essential speech and language therapy to support children with communication difficulties, enhancing their development and quality of life.
* Gain exposure to leadership responsibilities and service development opportunities within the HSE.
* Join a highly supportive Multidisciplinary Team, work alongside Senior Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and more to deliver holistic, family-centred care.
* Access continuous learning opportunities, CPD funding, and clinical supervision to enhance your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children and young people with a wide range of communication and/or feeding difficulties.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation in line with HSE standards.
* Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and continued professional development activities.
* Contribute to service planning and development initiatives as required.
* CORU-registered (or registration in process) Speech & Language Therapist.
* Experience working with children and young people in a clinical, educational, or community setting.
* An understanding of and/or experience with complex developmental and communication needs is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Flexibility and a commitment to person-centred, family-focused care.
* Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle for community visits (Essential).
