Bologna Health Jobs Ireland, in collaboration with the HSE, is actively seeking two physicians with extensive experience in internal medicine at a hospital outside Dublin.
Responsibilities:
A specialty in general (internal) medicine is required. The candidate will be part of the consultant team (equivalent to the Spanish FEA) and will be one of the department's top managers. Therefore, they will have a leadership position and will act with complete autonomy. They will report to residents and licensed registrars.
They will oversee all decisions made by their team and will report to the hospital's clinical director.
Experience or interest in areas such as respiratory, gastroenterology, endocrine, geriatrics, rheumatology, nephrology, and neurology will be a great asset.
Experience in stroke.
On-call duty.
Requirements:
Between 5 and 10 years of experience in the general medicine department, treating highly complex patients (including years of specialty training).
If you are from outside the EU, you must have at least three years of experience in Spain from the date your specialist degree was recognized in Spain. It is important to have a certificate from the Ministry of Universities confirming that you have worked in Spain for three years. This requirement is essential to register with the IMC.
English: minimum B2
Good motivation to travel to Ireland this year, once you have achieved the IMC
