Overview
Our client is looking for a Financial Planning Manager who will lead and expand their private client advisory team. This role is critical in providing high-quality financial advice while managing and supporting a team of four Private Client Consultants, with plans to grow the team further. The position is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Private Client Consultants to ensure consistent growth, high performance, and excellent client service.
* Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive financial planning services including estate planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, and risk management.
* Guide the team in delivering best practices for financial planning and advisory services; develop and implement standards and processes.
* Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to set objectives, review performance, and coach for improved client service and revenue generation.
* Manage team schedules, including holiday approvals and workload distribution to ensure seamless client service.
* Identify training opportunities to keep the team updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
* Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on excellence.
* Support team members by answering client technical queries, guidance on positioning, and financial planning specifics.
* Expand and manage a personal portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering expert financial planning services (estate planning, investment, retirement, risk management).
* Drive business growth through a mix of fee-based financial planning and commission-based product recommendations (pensions, investments, life assurance).
Qualifications
* Experience providing financial advice to clients is essential.
* Willingness to grow and foster a team.
* Proficiency in financial planning software, particularly Voyant.
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
* Proven leadership experience in financial advisory or wealth management, with a focus on motivating and developing teams.
