Purpose of the role: Mount Carmel Hospital is a surgical hub on the south side of Dublin under the clinical governance of St. James's Hospital. This hub consists of 2 day-theatres and 2 minor operation theatres covering a wide variety of specialties.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of the highest standard of nursing care to patients, manage all nursing and allied staff in the day surgery unit and be responsible for maintaining and developing professional standards.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse manager at CNM II level, who embodies the SJH philosophy of care, compassion, empathy, teamwork, and professionalism.
As a member of the team in the South Dublin Surgical Hub, you will lead the intraoperative nursing team to deliver high standards of perioperative care to patients in the Surgical Hub, work closely with surgical and anaesthetic teams, and the nursing team.
Furthermore, the South Dublin Surgical Hub requires a versatile, dynamic, and motivated perioperative nurse manager who is able to work across various surgical specialties.
