Senior Platform / Infrastructure Architect( WAF, YAML, Visio, Firewalls, Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure )We are hiring aSenior Platform Architectto join a global technology organisation supporting large-scale, secure and highly available internet and platform infrastructure.This role focuses on designing end-to-end infrastructure and producing high-quality technical architecture documentation to support complex, business-critical platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver enterprise-grade internet and platform infrastructure solutionsProduce and maintain Technical Architecture Documents (TADs), logical designs and technical modelsWork closely with application teams, engineers and stakeholders to define and validate requirementsEnsure architectures meet security, scalability, performance and availability standardsResolve infrastructure and architectural issues impacting global servicesContribute to technology evaluations and future platform directionSupport performance tuning, capacity planning and configuration managementEssential Skills & ExperienceStrong background in infrastructure and platform architecture designProven experience with cloud technologiesSolid infrastructure security knowledge, including data centre environmentsStrong understanding of:Web and middleware platformsOperating systems and networking fundamentalsLoad balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)Experience producing architecture diagrams and designs (e.g. Visio or similar)Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network micro-segmentationExperience working with YAML-based deploymentsWorking knowledge of database technologiesRequirements5+ years' experience in infrastructure / platform architecture or related rolesStrong stakeholder engagement and documentation skillsAbility to work across distributed, multi-geography teamsProactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in fast-paced environmentsContract:12 months (high likelihood of extension)Location:Dublin (hybrid working)
