Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently carry out basic cleaning tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor service areas and promptly address any issues to maintain exceptional kitchen hygiene standards.
* Clean food preparation areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean working environment.
* Unload food and equipment deliveries in a timely manner to prevent delays in service.
* Maintain organized and tidy storerooms to ensure easy access to supplies and minimize waste.
* Ensure work surfaces, walls, and floors are kept clean and sanitized to prevent the spread of bacteria and maintain a healthy environment.
* Adhere to correct recycling and food waste procedures to minimize environmental impact and maintain a sustainable kitchen practice.
* Assist cooks with food handling as needed to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Prepare mise en place for service to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times to prevent accidents and ensure employee safety.
Occasional tasks may include assisting with food deliveries and taking measures to ensure safe and hygienic handling practices. You will also communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed as agreed.
