We are inviting applications for the Driving Instructor (Contractor) role at Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA).
Location: Kildare/Meath.
Purpose of Job
The purpose of this position is to provide driving tuition and assessment to drivers with disabilities in a vehicle supplied by the Irish Wheelchair Association in the Kildare/Meath area. This vehicle is specifically adapted for this purpose. Close liaison will be required with the National Transport Manager based in Clane, Co Kildare.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* Provide driving tuition and assessment to motorists with disabilities.
* Provide motoring advice to pupils on all relevant motoring issues.
* Record all assessments and tuition as per IWA guidelines.
* Undergo training as requested by National Transport Manager.
* Comprehensive training is provided.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current registration as an Approved Driving Instructor with the RSA.
* Have a current and clean driving licence.
Remuneration
€ 40 per hour.
Vehicle will be provided by Irish Wheelchair Association.
