BIM Lead – Northern Cross, Dublin 17

Overview
Our client, an established main contractor delivering projects across Ireland, is seeking a BIM Lead to join their Dublin office. The successful candidate will lead and support the development and implementation of a DPD strategy from pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.
Responsibilities
Supporting the pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Client’s BIM and Digital requirements.
Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.
Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
Lead the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.
Support the BIM Engineers where required and mentor them as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Fully competency in ISO19650
Degree in an Engineering or Design related subject
Strong knowledge of Navisworks and Revit, other BIM software is desirable
Strong attention to detail & solution driven
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
