Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial management, reporting, and compliance across a range of accounting functions. Reporting to an Accounting Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Your new role Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports Support budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis Oversee capital expenditure, asset management, and depreciation Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes Monitor and report on grant income and compliance Ensure adherence to financial regulations and support audit processes Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial guidance Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and support junior finance staff What you'll need to succeed Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills A full UK driving licence or access to suitable transport What you'll get in return Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working Opportunity to rotate across key finance areas for career development Supportive and inclusive team environment Access to professional development and training The chance to make a meaningful impact What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
