Join to apply for the IT Operator role at The National LotteryJoin to apply for the IT Operator role at The National LotteryGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre: Monday to Wednesday onsiteMaintain the integrity of the National Lottery Gaming systems, channels and business systems and ensure that departmental SLAs are met.Ensure successful running of retail network, gaming systems and applications, identify problems or delays and take appropriate corrective actions.What you will doTeam Description:Ensure service levels to our external customers and internal business users are maintained to highest standards providing minimum availability of 99.6%, per annum across all regulated systems.Ensure that the Irish National Lottery Computer Operations functions are managed, 24 hrs per day 365 days per year in a secure, reliable, resilient way.Manage the standards and availability for all IT Services.Manage the service delivery and effective performance of Operation 24x7 Data Centres, Networks and Service Management.Monitor performance of the Gaming infrastructure.Manage all gaming systems, channels and provide Operator inputs to the Draw processes.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all Operations documentation is accurate, up to date and adhered to.Monitor the processing and functioning of the following components of the Lottery Infrastructure: Intralot suite of applications, retailer channel, interactive channel, internal and external networks and network devices, back-office databases and hardware.Retailer estate management – monitoring of the networks, change of proprietors, new installs, software updates.Log, investigate, assign or resolve any problems or irregularities.Incident and change management, itil based.User access management activities, starters, leavers and movers.Alongside PLI personnel, perform daily draw processing activities.What we are looking forMinimum 1-2 years in incident management in line with ITIL fundamentals and best practicesExperience of Application or Network Management toolsExperience of using an automated scheduling packageKnowledge IT Security Systems/procedures and an ability to demonstrate a strong working background in theseProficient in Microsoft excel.Experience in Active Directory user management.Significant IT experience and an ability to analyse and solve technical problems.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Analytical problem solving.Knowledge of Lottery systems would be an advantageWhy you will love working here:Work-life balance: Hybrid working model for applicable roles.
