Manufacturing Technician Role
The successful candidate will provide technical support to the manufacturing line for consistent operations. They will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond promptly to manufacturing line stoppages or anomalies to minimize production downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, tooling, process, or material.
3. Perform manufacturing line set-ups and operate equipment properly.
4. Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
5. Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and maintenance records according to quality system requirements.
6. Support process development activities for new products.
In this role, you will work closely with the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes are running efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
