Junior HR Business Partner, DublinLocation: Dublin City Centre & Hybrid Contract: Full Time, Specific Purpose ContractThe purpose of this role is to act as a partner to the business providing HR guidance and advice to ensure the provision of a quality HR service that aligns with the overall business and people strategy.What you will do:Act as a trusted HR partner on employee relations, performance, retention, and HR projectsBuild strong relationships with People Managers to deliver HR solutions aligned with strategyProvide expert advice, coaching, and support on HR practices and policiesLead assigned HR workstreams and contribute to organisational projectsEmployee Relations and Performance Life cycleAct as the first point of contact for People Managers in assisting and advising on ER, conflict resolution, performance and employee wellbeing issues, with a focus on early intervention and alternative dispute resolution.Provide support and coaching to People Managers on probation and performance processesProvide up to date advice and support around the legal and regulatory environmentParticipate and support People Managers and employees in informal and formal hearings, as appropriate, e.g., investigations, disciplinary, grievancesAct as point of contact for employees requiring an employment permit, supporting on employment permit applications where requiredEnsure HR Policies & Procedures are up to date and in line with legislationEmployee RetentionEnsure the roll out of agreed Retention strategies to include Employee Check-Ins, Stay Interviews, and Exit InterviewsUse analytics, gather data to proactively identify and address factors that impact employee retention across the Organisation and support People Managers with actions plansPartner with People Managers ensuring the retention and development of high performing employeesMeasure the effectiveness of retention strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvementComps and BenefitsLead for Long-term sick absence for the Organisation providing support and guidance to People Managers and employees on best practiceManage the retirement process for the Organisation in consultation with the Senior HR ManagerSupport the Senior HR Manager and/or HR Director in benchmarking for the business as requiredUse HR metrics and data to drive business outcomesHR ProjectsAct as HR Lead in the project management of agreed key HR Projects ensuring successful completion within agreed timelines Proactively identify HR projects to ensure continuous improvements for HR Processes and HR Services deliveryGeneral Ensure compliance GDPR requirements and accurate reporting.Participate in Organisational working groups as requiredWhat you will need: Qualified HR Practitioner with a third level degree in a HR related discipline and member of CIPD4 years' experience in a HR Generalist role with an in-depth experience, understanding and knowledge of employee relations, performance management and HR best practicesOperates with high level of integrity and confidentialityStrong Employment law knowledge essentialStrong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacyAbility to influence across all levelsInnovative approach to people solutions, with a strategic mindsetProven project management ability, can create and implement plans and adapt to changing priorities and timelines quicklyStrong analytical and report writing skills with proven experience of using people metrics to add value to all people mattersAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamAbility to work well under pressure with excellent planning and organisational abilitiesFocus Ireland is an equal opportunities employer.#FI3
