Key Skills and Qualifications
Your new role is a key opportunity to develop your career in construction. You will be working on a large residential mixed-use development in Tallaght, with several blocks and underground parking.
You will have experience of managing challenging projects and teams, with excellent communication skills and a proven record of working on Irish/UK construction projects. Your ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards will be essential.
* In order to be successful in this position, you must have previously been in a management position with a construction contractor. This can be as a lead carpenter or working foreman, for example.
* You must have prior management experience on site of subcontractors for internal works/facade OR groundworks.
* Coming from a carpentry trade background is advantageous but not essential.
* This role will suit a long-time carpenter / working foreman or someone experienced in a Foreman / Finishing position over the last number of years.
Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an hourly rate between €30-€40 per hour (typically 45-50 hour weeks) - good money to be made. This would include PAYE OR Self-Employed setup, as well as time and a half etc. The annual salary would be around €80,000-€100,000 based on standard hours worked.
