From our state-of-the-art production facilities we design, develop, manufacture and distribute Heating, Hot Water and Ventilation products using innovative designs and the most up-to-date production methods, primarily for sale into the European market and with growing worldwide sales.
The Role:
We are seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking and commercially focussed Finance Director for our Ireland and UK businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO this senior leadership role will oversee financial operations, guide strategic decision making and support business growth through strong partnerships with company MDs, commercial teams, local finance teams and the wider Group Leadership. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who values inclusive leadership, constructive challenge and building strong relationships across functions. You will influence business performance, ensure compliance, and help shape the financial direction of both organisations.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the companies’ MDs to guide, monitor and support overall business performance
Lead, mentor and empower finance teams in both businesses, fostering a culture of continuous improvement & professional development
Bring strong commercial and financial insight to strategic decision making
Deliver sound financial decision making for NPD, new market entry & strategic investments including ROI analysis
Lead annual budget process delivering a transparent, well-structured and initiative driven business plan
Oversee FP&A to ensure high-quality financial planning and performance monitoring
Ensure accurate, timely reporting that complies with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, local tax law and corporate governance standards
Maintain a proactive approach to risk identification, assessment and mitigation
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years’ PQE
Supportive and engaging leadership style, with proven experience developing and empowering teams
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate comfortably with both finance and non-finance leaders
Comfortable leading change, asking thoughtful questions and constructively challenging assumptions
Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience partnering with commercial and operational teams to influence and improve business outcomes
Self‑motivated, adaptable and committed to delivering high quality work
Location:
Office in North / West Dublin, regular travel to Pontefract UK, hybrid working available
Remuneration:
Strong base salary + bonus + benefits package
