About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, performing material take-offs, and implementing post-contract duties.
Main Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate cost estimates for project phases, including tender documents, contracts, drawings, BoQs, specifications, and budgets.
* Perform material take-offs prior to purchase requisitions and report irregularities or discrepancies to project management.
* Implement post-contract duties, such as measurements, final accounts, evaluation reports, payment applications, and contractual obligations.
* Collaborate closely with the project team to record and notify measurements, variations, and contractual matters.
* Manage, examine, control, and evaluate subcontractor works, claims, variations, invoices, and ensure contractual obligations are satisfied.
* Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quantities and specifications align with tender and project specifications.
* Provide detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing.
* Conduct meetings with clients, site managers, project managers, and site engineers to discuss project progress and requirements.
Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or mechanical engineering.
* Technical and practical knowledge of contract development, award, administration, and close-out related to multi-discipline civil/construction projects.
* Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Good communication skills and strong English capability.
