We are currently recruiting for a DON for a brand new care home in North Dublin The ideal candidate will be a DON/Adon for at least 2 years and looking to step into an exciting new project where you can build and establish a great team providing top-level care. Role Responsibilities: Lead in the delivery of resident care. Enhance the person-centered approach. Lead and manage an enthusiastic team to work to their potential. Conduct internal audits and report on home KPI's Initial induction of staff and ongoing training and development of staff Encouragement of innovative practice Ensuring implementation and adherence to Company and HIQA standards. Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Nursing Management position in the Care of the elderly (within the last 6 years). Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum) Currently registered with NMBI Proven track record of clinical, leadership, and people skills Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations, and the 'HEALTH ACT 2007' Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Proven track record in decision-making ability. Qualification in Gerontology is desirable. Skills: Nursing
