Nautical and Digital Training Instructor Opportunity Unijobs is seeking a skilled Nautical and Digital Training Instructor to deliver professional training to seafood industry personnel and students through the Coastal Training Unit (CTU) based in Castletownbere, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee working 35 hours per week with flexibility to adapt schedules based on industry demand. This role encompasses delivering essential safety and radio training, supporting digital upskilling initiatives, serving as the 'Face of BIM' to the seafood industry, and contributing to IT-related projects such as training portal redevelopment. ----------------------------------- Job Responsibilities: 1. Deliver and assess fishing industry training including STCW - Elementary First Aid, STCW - Personal Survival Techniques, STCW - Personal Safety and Social Responsibility. 2. Support digital literacy initiatives through developing online content for programs. 3. Maintain quality assurance standards ensuring compliance with Do T/MSO ISO standards in course delivery.
