About the Role - We are currently seeking a motivated and technically minded Technical Sales Specialist – Inside Sales to join our growing Calibre Ireland Sales Team. Based in either our Shannon or Dublin office with flexible hybrid working arrangements, this is a permanent, full-time position that plays a vital role in driving business development and supporting customers across our instrumentation and consumables product portfolio.
Working closely with both the Carl Stuart Group and Reagecon businesses, this role supports our internal and field-based teams by managing inbound enquiries, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for science and technology, strong communication skills, and an interest in sales.
Key Responsibilities -
* Support both the Carl Stuart and RDL customer bases across Ireland.
* Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
* Assist the field sales and engineering teams with technical queries and commercial support.
* Maintain accurate customer and pipeline records across both company CRM systems.
* Support telesales and digital marketing campaigns to generate leads.
* Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline and contribute to team targets.
* Participate in campaign planning and provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity.
* Occasionally accompany field sales representatives on customer visits, where appropriate.
* Contribute to the achievement of individual and team KPIs, sales goals, and margin targets.
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications -
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales, sales support, or customer-facing role.
* Degree in Science
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* A proactive, results-oriented mindset and a natural problem-solver.
* Comfortable using CRM systems and working in a target-driven environment.
* Adaptable and comfortable working in a hybrid office/home environment.
* Experience in scientific or technical sales is an advantage.
