What will you do?Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Quotation Specialist - Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear in our Dollard-des-Ormeaux (QC) location.This position is accountable for preparation of quotations for product/project orders while driving a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be able to analyze the needs of the customer, and deliver a solution based on the customer's application requirements.Review RFQ's for clarity of request, suitability for Schneider Electric product offering, risk assessment, profitability, and time given to complete quotations.Initiate RFQ discussion with Tender manager, Tender lead, and Sales to discuss requirements, advise recommendations, and suggest optimizations.Match products to customer specifications and drawings by demonstrating knowledge of products. Optimize offering to improve success and customer experience. Reviews customer specifications/drawings to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive.Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual and technical terms and conditions relative to the company standard.Maintains a current understanding of quote strategies and market conditions.Identify and promote opportunities to improve the quotation process and measure effectiveness.Attends & assists for both internal & external inquires/meetings during project execution.
