We are seeking a creative and skilled Garment Designer to join our fashion and apparel team in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for designing innovative garment collections from concept development to final production.
The role involves working closely with production teams, tailors, and sourcing staff to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with market trends. The ideal candidate should have strong creativity, technical design knowledge, and experience in garment construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop original garment designs based on market trends and customer requirements
Create technical sketches, fashion illustrations, and design boards
Select suitable fabrics, materials, colors, and trims
Work with pattern makers and production teams for sample development
Review and refine samples for final production approval
Ensure designs are production-friendly and cost-efficient
Coordinate with internal teams for product development and launch
Maintain proper design documentation and specification sheets
