Overview
We are opening Omos – a 16‑bedroom guesthouse and 40‑seat restaurant set on 4.2 acres just outside the heritage town of Abbeyleix, County Laois. Omos means honour, duty, and respect, and our intention is to create a lasting, meaningful place that welcomes curiosity, craft, and discovery.
Responsibilities
Serve guests at the restaurant, blending kitchen and dining room service.
Collaborate with Chefs to translate the story of the land, ingredients, and fire with intent, clarity, and care.
Provide service for one dinner sitting per day, Tuesday to Saturday, and a lunch sitting on Saturdays.
Report to the Restaurant Manager and work as part of a team.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Chef de Rang or in a similar high‑quality hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Legal eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to service excellence, and ability to work collaboratively.
Warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude; can respond to a range of work situations.
