The Senior Mechanical Engineer will report into the Mechanical Project Manager and be responsible for working with a team of Mechanical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of mechanical designs to identify discrepancies in specifications and IFC drawings, and generate detailed RFIs to clarify potential issues.
Verify equipment sizes (ductwork, pipework, etc.), provide recommendations as necessary, and apply troubleshooting techniques to identify and correct problems.
Oversee submittals, manage the approval process, track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment, and verify receipt upon delivery.
Perform mechanical system walk-downs to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and the company Integrated Management System.
Coordinate and manage mechanical services with other disciplines and the project BIM team, ensuring efficient and safe sequencing of installations.
Provide technical guidance to subcontracted staff, ensuring compliance with site and project requirements, including health and safety obligations, in collaboration with the construction team.
Develop method statements and risk assessments for construction activities, and maintain up-to-date document control for effective log management.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
5+ years' experience in a similar role.
Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.

Salary €80,000 to €95,000 DOE
