Job Opportunity
The role of an Intermediate Planner is to support Senior Planners and the Regional Planner in planning and programming design, procurement, and construction activities across various projects.
This position will involve defining weekly/monthly programme positions and reviewing programmes, outputs, and phasing. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing tracking schedules for subcontractors and maintaining control over programme production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Senior Planners in defining weekly/monthly programme positions and review programmes, outputs, and phasing.
* Develop tracking schedules for subcontractors and maintain control over programme production.
* Support the development of baseline contract programmes, covering all aspects from design to commissioning and handover.
* Ensure Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are incorporated into planning assumptions and decisions.
* Develop construction methodologies demonstrating safe project delivery techniques and sequencing.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
* Proficiency in project management tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of industry best practices and relevant contracts (JCT and NEC).
Qualifications:
* Relevant degree or diploma in construction management.
* Understanding of project management principles and practices.
