Project Director Position Available
Lead a team of engineers and project managers in the delivery of large-scale projects within Life Sciences, Data Centres, and Semiconductor facilities.
* Oversight of project delivery from initiation to execution, including detailed planning, handover, and final account closeout.
* Coordination across internal design, BIM, QA/QC, procurement, and engineering functions to ensure alignment with client expectations and technical requirements.
* Utilisation of project systems to monitor progress, identify risk, and ensure compliance with safety, quality controls.
* Regular site inspections and liaison with site teams to proactively identify and resolve operational or technical challenges.
* Building high-trust relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors through contract negotiations where necessary.
* Monitoring and controlling project finances, implementing cost tracking systems, and ensuring robust forecasting and reporting to leadership.
* Upholding adherence to H&S legislation, industry standards, and protocols throughout all project phases.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project or Contracts Manager with prior hands-on experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
* Demonstrated success delivering complex MEP packages, ideally on large-scale projects within Life Sciences, Data Centres, or Semiconductor environments.
* In-depth understanding of HVAC, mechanical, and process systems, including design coordination and construction management.
* Confident managing high-performing teams, multiple subcontractors, and multi-million euro budgets.
* Strong commercial awareness, with experience producing accurate forecasts, managing risk, and reporting to stakeholders.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Willingsness to travel occasionally across Europe as project needs dictate.
* A full, clean driving licence.
