PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYORDROGHEDA, LOUTH (Hybrid)MAIN CONTRACTOR€75K plus package DOERequirements:3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying3 years + in a similar role post graduationWorking knowledge of Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) work packages measurements and costsExperience working on large scale building projectsReporting to the Senior QS, the key responsibilities of the role will include:Overseeing the administration and change order process associated with the CSA packagesEnsure all changes are captured and costings appropriately assessed and validated prior to issuing to the Design Team and ClientPreparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team and/or the clientUndertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project workAssisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studiesPerforming risk, value management and cost controlAdvising on procurement strategyIdentifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risksPreparing and analysing costings for tendersAllocating work to subcontractorsProviding advice on contractual claimsAnalysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reportsValuing completed work and arranging paymentsMaintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current useUnderstanding the implications of health and safety regulations.If interested in further information or being considered for this role- apply within or reach out to Hugh Casey to discuss.Note- Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland without Visa sponsorship to be considered
