Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and contingency strategies.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required specifications and standards.
* Participate in design review for feasibility and compliance, collaborating with architects and consultants to optimize construction efficiency.
* Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and Health & Safety standards.
* Monitor construction progress, site activities, and project costs, maintaining accurate records and documentation (e.g., site diaries, QA, as-builts).
* Conduct site surveys and levelling in line with drawings and specifications.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
* Provide regular updates, reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Extensive experience in construction engineering, with a proven track record of successful project management
* Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction practices.
* Familiarity with Irish construction regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Full Driver's Licence.
