Job Description: Full time 39 hours per week, Pay Rate 30.000 per annum
As a Health Care Assistant, you will:
* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
* To assist in maintaining safe levels of care and ensuring safe practice
* To liaise with and carry out the instructions of the nurse in charge and other allied professionals.
* To promote the physical, emotional, social and intellectual well being of residents
* Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
* To work in accordance with any regulations pertinent to the safe running of the home i.e. Safety, Health and Welfare at work Act 1989, HIQA, HSE,
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, minimum 12 months experience
* QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
