Penetration Tester

Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Salary: €55,000 - €65,000
A well-established technology company is seeking a Penetration Tester to join its cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will assess networks, applications, and systems to identify security weaknesses and provide practical remediation guidance.
The Role
You'll carry out vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across web, infrastructure, and cloud environments, working closely with security engineers and developers to improve defences and reduce exposure.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform network, web application, and infrastructure penetration testing.
* Identify vulnerabilities and communicate technical findings with clear remediation advice.
* Conduct assessments against known frameworks and standards.
* Contribute to threat modelling and internal security testing processes.
* Prepare detailed reports outlining issues, impact, and recommended mitigations.
* Support red team exercises and assist with vulnerability management.
Skills & Experience
* 3-5 years' experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
* Strong understanding of web and network protocols.
* Familiar with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, or Nessus.
* Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
* Relevant certifications (., OSCP, eCPPT, CEH) are a strong plus.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
