Offer description

CAD & GIS Technician required to join an established company within the thriving Renewable Energy Sector. As CAD & GIS Technician, you will work on renewable energy projects which span all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility to operation.


Responsibilities:

* Assessing the feasibility of sites for renewable energy project developments using CAD & GIS software.
* Projects within wind energy/solar energy/battery storage project inception, development, pre-construction, and construction phases.
* Work on ad-hoc project programmes and deliver to the highest standards.
* Preparing engineering, site layout and planning drawings for renewable energy projects, and associated transport and grid connection routes.
* Aid in the preparation of design drawings and as-built drawings of new infrastructure to EirGrid/ESBN specifications.


Requirements:

* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the team.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software and CAD. Appropriate training will be given for other requisite software.
* GIS experience is preferable, but training can be provided.
