MKO is seeking to recruit a Graduate Planner to join our Planning team and meet the increasing demand for the company's services.
As a Graduate Planner, you will join one of Ireland's largest and most experienced Planning teams. You'll work on projects across every sector, including renewables, commercial and residential. Planning is constantly evolving, and one of your responsibilities will be monitoring national and European regulatory changes and assessing their impact on clients and the projects you're working on.
As part of our Planning team, you'll be exposed to many exciting and challenging projects. From inception to project completion, your input will make the most of your skill set and further expand your knowledge and expertise. You'll engage with clients, relevant authorities, and stakeholders, where your contribution will be invaluable to the projects you work on.
From undertaking background research, desk studies, field visits, and preparing planning assessments, the experience you'll gain will be invaluable to developing your career as a Planner.
Requirements
The Graduate Planner role is open to final-year undergraduates, master's students and those who have graduated in the last two years in Geography, Planning or another relevant discipline, equipping you with the necessary skills to undertake the role.
Grads applying for a role in our Planning team must have a qualification in Town Planning (IPI or RTPI Accredited).
We are looking for grads with a good working knowledge of the Irish planning system and the interaction of relevant planning and environmental legislation, both national and European.

Those applying to become a Graduate Planner would ideally have excellent report writing skills, be organised and have meticulous attention to detail.
