Unijobs DAC are currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Centre (PMTC) which is an industry-academic collaborative research centre, funded by Enterprise Ireland. PMTC is hosted at the University of Limerick to provide advanced technology research solutions relevant to the Irish BioPharmaceutical sector. The position is temporary, full time, working 35 hours per week. The rate of pay is between €18.86- €23.53 but will be determined by experience. The position is initially anticipated to be a 5 month contract with the possibility of extension thereafter. Job Purpose The PMTC operations team is headed by the PMTC Director. The PMTC Programme Coordinator is a member of this Operations team. The role will manage specified research projects in the PMTC portfolio and maintain the centre project management system. The Programme Coordinator will also be responsible to ensure the capture of research outputs in consultation with Technology Transfer office and PMTC Centre Director. Experience in project management is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the BioPharmaceutical sector or high tech manufacturing. The role will involve travel within Ireland to RPO and Industry partner sites on occasion. The role involves oversight of a range of projects and multidisciplinary teams to support timely and impactful Research and Industry collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate PMTC Research Projects across multiple Research Performing Organisations (RPO's) Coordinate the Technology Transfer of PMTC Research outputs to Pharmaceutical Industry sites Identify, collate and present key metrics to help drive all projects and to enable clear communications to all stakeholders Organise and manage meetings and forums to enable the work of the PMTC Travel to RPO and Industry sites as required to manage projects Team work: Support the work of other PMTC personnel Build communication channels / relationship with all stakeholders Liaison with Centre PI's across multiple RPO sites, Management Staff and partner companies in the dissemination of information Promotion of research of the Centre both internally and externally including social media, website and newsletters Liaison with host institute (UL) functional areas of Research Office, Finance, Human Resources, Faculties and Departments. Participate in meetings and committees as deemed necessary by the PMTC Director Manage IP of research through licenses, spinouts and adoption of research outputs and practises Other duties as requested by the PMTC Director Essential Requirements: Demonstrated track record in Project Management including use of tools and techniques including, but not limited to Gantt chart creation and monitoring, milestone tracking, risk communication, reporting and close out Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, proven track record in multidisciplinary project environment A minimum of 3 years' Programme management experience in an Industry/ Research project or other multi stakeholder projects Proven track record of intra and inter organisational stakeholder management Evidence of Stakeholder management Bachelor's Degree (level 8 NFQ) or higher in any discipline or substantial acquired experience in the Higher Education Sector. Desirable Requirements: Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector.
