The Role
This is a senior, hands‑on role offering significant responsibility and a clear progression path. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of SME clients, oversee a dedicated internal team, and work closely with the Managing Partner on client delivery and practice development.
The role offers an exceptional opportunity to progress to Equity Partner following the successful completion of the initial probation period.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries, acting as the primary point of contact
Deliver high-quality services across accounts preparation, tax compliance, advisory, and consultancy engagements
Lead and manage one internal team/group, with one direct report
Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentoring and technical guidance
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
Support the Managing Partner with practice operations, workflow management, and client matters
Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the practice

Reports to: Managing Partner
Manages: One internal group, with one direct report
Candidate Requirements
Essential
ACCA qualified or ACA
Minimum 4 years’ post‑qualification experience
Experience working in a small to medium‑size accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and tax
Proven experience managing client relationships and portfolios
Strong communication and leadership skills
Desirable
Tax Qualification
Exposure to audit, forensic accounting, or business consultancy
Experience reviewing work and managing junior team members
Interest in long‑term progression within a practice environment

Fully onsite
Monday to Friday
9:00am – 5:30pm
