Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure

We're looking for a Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor, based in Limerick, to play a key role in delivering a major transport project.
Working as part of Linesight's onsite commercial team, you'll lead cost control, reporting, forecasting, change management and final accounts, ensuring our client achieves best value and commercial certainty.

The role will be Hybrid/site based.
Role and Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with other staff members, the general contractor and the client
B e a strong team player but demonstrate the ability to lead on tasks provided
Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Support the onsite team with cost control, cost reporting and forecasting
Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports, cash flows
Review contractor's applications for payment
Manage and cl ose out change orders and contract issues
P r epare and agree final accounts, including the handling of any variations/claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
P r oduce cost analysis feedback / lessons learnt to the client for future works
Attend meetings at Linesight or client offices as required
Other duties as may reasonably be required for an Onsite Senior Quantity Surveyor
Deliver all role outputs in an accurate, professional and timely manner
Desired Experience and Education:
Proven years' experience in quantity surveying
Major civils or building experience is desired
An Understanding of construction contracts, preferably NEC and PWC
The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful with excellent client relationship skills
A quantity surveying qualification is essential
Have an interest in obtaining SCSI/RICS accreditation if not already achieved.
