Job Title: Social Media Manager Location:Dublin / Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Reports To:Head of Digital Marketing Department:Marketing About is Irelands leading bill comparison and switching service, helping consumers save money on essential household bills such as energy, broadband, banking, and insurance, as well as supporting customers through their mortgage journey.

About the role TheSocial Media Managerwill be responsible for developing and executing social media strategy to grow our audience, engage existing users, and strengthen brand awareness across all social channels.
This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on delivery, from crafting campaigns and creating content to managing paid and organic activity and driving measurable growth.
Youll work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, Head of Communications and cross-functional teams to ensure social media supports wider marketing, brand, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
Identify opportunities to expand brand reach and engagement across existing and emerging platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Set clear KPIs for growth, engagement, and conversion, ensuring measurable success across all channels.
Content & Campaign Management Plan, create, and publish engaging content that aligns with our brand tone, key messages, and campaign objectives.
Manage the social media content calendar and collaborate with internal teams (PR, customer service, and product) and agencies (paid social) to ensure consistent messaging.
Develop and execute creative, cross-platform campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and traffic, being self-sufficient in designing and producing visual content, including static graphics, and motion assets, using design tools and AI powered creation platforms.
Source, brief, and manage external creators or agencies when needed.
Channel Management Oversee daily management of all social media accounts.
Build and engage online communities, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
Monitor trends, social conversations, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Form key relationships with influencers and manage activity across social media platforms.
Paid & Organic Social Manage both organic and paid social activity, including audience targeting, ad creative, campaign optimisation, and budget management.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align paid social with broader advertising strategies.
Test and analyse campaign performance to continuously improve ROI and grow the base of followers.
Analytics & Reporting Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Audience Insights and set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty.
Provide monthly and campaign-based performance reports to the Head of Digital Marketing with actionable insights and recommendations.
Skills & Experience Required 3+ years experience in social media management, ideally within a consumer brand, media, or digital agency environment.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful social strategies and campaigns.
Experience managing both organic and paid social across multiple platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with graphic and creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills.
Creative mindset and associated execution skills with a keen eye for visual content and emerging trends.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, or Buffer).
