About the Role
Site Manager (PICW Certified) - Water/Wastewater Construction Projects
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a dynamic team within the Water/Waste-water sector. You will lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety while driving project delivery.
You will work closely with design and project management teams, contractors and clients, overseeing projects across a variety of sectors including industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and municipal. This is a regional role, with travel to multiple sites across Ireland as required.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage site operations, including supervising teams and subcontractors.
2. Maintain health and safety files, carry out audits, and promote safe working practices.
3. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project plans, specifications, and H&S proposals are implemented.
4. Identify, prevent, and report unsafe behaviour or incidents.
5. Resolve technical issues proactively and liaise with relevant teams for solutions.
6. Manage mechanical, electrical, and automation subcontractors on site.
7. Chair daily coordination meetings and weekly progress reviews.
8. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and attend client meetings.
9. Oversee compliance with Environmental, Waste, H&S, and Emergency Plans.
10. Monitor material conformance, quality of workmanship, and adherence to project schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
11. Mechanicalor Electrical trade background with progression to management.
12. MUST be willing to complete IOSH | Person In Charge of Works Training (PICW) (Non Negotiable)
13. 5+ years experience on multi-discipline site-based projects, ideally within water/waste-water.
14. Proven site management experience, including Mechanical & Electrical works.
15. Experience with water treatment plants is advantageous.
16. Flexibility to travel between sites for installation and commissioning phases.
17. Full clean driving licence.
18. Strong oral and written communication skills.
